We Finally Go Outside!

Lily and I went out for a run this morning. She sat in her jogging stroller with her feet crossed, cute enough so that everyone gave her a big smile. Normally, she doesn't have a lot of time for sitting around like this. She needs to walk. She wants to push the stroller. I was a little apprehensive about going too far and having her demand to get out and stroll a mile or two from home, but she was quite content to watch everything go by. It was hard to keep her mittens and hat on though. She kept taking them off and handing them to me. So I waited for a coupla minutes, until she got a little chilly. Then I asked her if she wanted them again (it has to be her idea or she has to sign off on such things), and got the nod. She walked the last two blocks home. We had some cookies and then off to nap.
